Position: Transformation Leader - Agile Responsibilities:

Transformation Strategy

  • Promote a holistic and system-oriented view on the value generation process, i.e. raise awareness and moderate the cooperation of R&D, administration, operations, people development (traditional HR), controlling and accounting for joint value generation.
  • Reshape the organization towards a higher efficiency and a faster decision making via a clear split of responsibilities, e.g., facilitate a transition towards decentralized decision-making.
  • Establish a reasonable "urgency of change" and communicate it to the organization.
  • Ensure understanding and buy-in on all levels based on this to establish an intrinsic motivation of the workforce behind the agile transformation.
  • Establish transformation roadmap that tackles those aspects and make it transparent to the organization
  • Drive the transformation roadmap on the respective levels, acting as a tactical responsible for the respective leadership level
  • Turn the focus of the transformation towards agility away from methods and tools towards controlling, strategy, vision and the realization of the vision.
  • Establish, monitor, and manage organizational KPIs that reflect the progress and status of the overall organizational transformation and Value Streams.
  • Introduce measures and adjust transformation roadmap accordingly to ensure continuous improval.
  • Coaching, Guidance and Mentoring Leads the top-level transformation team, e.g., the Lean Agile Center of Excellence, for the respective organization.
  • Provides guidance for the organization to develop it into an organization that accommodates agile development methods on team level as well as on scaled level. This aspect therefore spans from simple definition and launch of Agile Release Trains (in case of the SAFe framework) to building an organization that can run and adapt these Agile Release Trains or Solution Trains per local demand, i.e. by own power without need of external consulting.
