Role Description:
Windows Server administrators are responsible in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-
based servers. 
Windows administrators also configure user access and maintain system stability and data security
through deployment and migration.
Job Description:
 Has Overall of 3-10 years of exp in Windows administration
 Required good experience in Installation, configuration & Administration of Windows server
2012/2016/2019.
 Bug fixing and maintenance of the Windows Platforms
 Server hardening methods and process
 Windows OS Patch (WSUS/SCCM/IBM Big fix/VMP) management
 Antivirus Management (MCAFEE /Symantec/Trend Micro/Checkpoint)
 Knowledge on the monitoring Tools (Nagios, SCOM, Zabbix, Manage Engine etc.)
 Server Role and feature Management (AD DS, Group Policy, Replications, Backups, ADFS,
DNS,DHCP)
 Print Server Management.
 File Server-DFS,FSRM management
 Knowledge on the WDS.
 Knowledge on the IIS.
 Knowledge on Microsoft System Center (SCVMM, SCOM, SCCM), Cloud operations, Azure, GCP.
 Knowledge on Remote Datacenter administration, Network connectivity.
 Knowledge on the Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V 2012R2, 2016, 2019)
 Knowledge on resource management framework on Virtualization like creation of resource
pools, adding the VMs into resource pools, MS Load balancing and Performance tuning on the
infrastructure.
 Resource Creation, Modification & upgradations of VMs in Hyper-V management
 Hyper V/Windows Cluster Configuration, troubleshooting &Management Hyper V replication configuration troubleshooting and management
 Hyper V storage migrations and Storage knowledge ISCSI & FC
 Experience on Migration/ Upgradation of Hyper V and AD 2012 to 2106/2019 Windows OS

 Windows NLB Configuration and NIC Teaming configuration, troubleshooting &Management
 Projects Scope design, Deployment, Migration and Transition to operations teams.
 performance reports to plan for proper Capacity Planning on the infrastructure growth
 Monitoring servers for Security and Virus threats and prompt remediation
 Escalating cross functional issues to Microsoft\Dell\HP and coordinating with them to resolve
the issues
 Resolving Priority 1/2/3 issues and ensures 100% SLA
 Analyzing Event, Incident, Change & Problem tickets and providing status on daily and weekly
status call
 Good problem solving skills and work towards resolution and identify the Root-Cause
 Preferable Certifications MCSA/MCSE/MCP/ITIL V3/V4 /AZURE Migrations
