workday contingent worker – hcm role in bengaluru / bangalore

Technical Skills:

 

  • Provide expertise and support to the Workday Tier 2 team as needed.
  • Manage the production (Prod) support queue to make sure tickets are closed on-time
  • Assist in resolving Workday defects related to contingent workforce management (CWFM), configuration (Config) and enterprise interface builder (EIB) load etc.
  • Help on loading EIB to Sandbox and Prod Workday for mass contingent work force
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in RTX Workday Business Process system.
  • Assign roles to RTX employees as requested. Find opportunities to improve this process.
  • Perform various recordkeeping activities as assigned, such as number of calls received, recording of time against various activities, etc.
  • Support the deployment of Contingent Worker functionality into Workday
  • Experience with the “Contract Contingent Worker” and “End Contingent Worker Contract” business processes and EIB loads
  • Strong reporting skills to be able to build new Custom Reports to track CW headcount
  • Basic understanding of Contingent Worker security groups and Workday’s overall security model
  • Assist in configuring Business process, build condition & Validation rules as needed.
  • Must be flexible in working hours (with good internet connection)
  • Must be fluent in speaking/communications in English
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile methodology including scrum, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Kanban planning.
  • Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required
  • Completion of tasks other than QA related
  • Strong interest in collaborative work with clients

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Clear communication skills
  • Assist in configuring Business process, build condition & Validation rules as needed.
  • Work on creating new custom reports.
  • Troubleshoot to resolve issues.
  • Should be able to assist in basic Contingent worker Security groups and Workday security model as required
  • Provide regular status reports to the team.
  • Ability to handle multiple sub project teams, tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
  • High comfort level working in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills; ability to establish credibility/rapport with stakeholders globally and in a virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance
  • Perform tasks as assigned.
  • Support / Work on activities assigned by client as per above technical skills.
  • Provide regular status reports to the team.
  • Work on updating configuration documentation material
  • Should be a Team player

 

 

Process Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in Agile methodology including scrum, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Kanban planning.
  • Experience using task tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or equivalent
