Job Overview:
As an E-commerce Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our online retail business D2C/Marketplaces. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of the e-commerce operation, ensuring efficiency, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on operational management.
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Seller Flex, Flipkart Seller Central, JioMart, D2C.
- Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from order placement to delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
- Implement strategies to minimize order processing and shipping times.
Inventory Management:
- Develop and maintain inventory management procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Implement strategies for efficient inventory turnover.
Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective customer service operations.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly.
- Implement and improve customer service processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
Website Maintenance:
- Collaborate with the IT and web development teams to ensure the smooth functioning of the e-commerce platform.
- Oversee updates, upgrades, and maintenance of the website to enhance user experience and performance.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze e-commerce metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on sales, customer behavior, and website performance.
- Use data insights to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align e-commerce strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with e-commerce laws and regulations.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect customer data and maintain a secure online shopping environment.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize costs and services.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations or a similar role.
- Must have hands on experience in WMS tools like EasyEcom / Unicommerce / Vincullum,
- Must have experience in onboarding courier partners like Delhivery/DTDC etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technologies.
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and inventory management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
