Procam, social or otherwise, through its sporting events/products, viz. special race categories,
special initiatives (eg: inclusion, awards nights, etc.), and the philanthropy pillar. This will include ...
strengthening the existing initiatives and opening up new avenues of engagements of strategic
significance, driving exceptional value to all stakeholders, viz. participants, partnering institutions,
the cause attached and of course, the community at large, thereby increasing the overall
community engagement of the Procam group exponentially.
II. The key deliverables of the job:
1. Working on and strengthening the ‘Inclusion’ objective of Procam, including the two
participative categories of Procam promoted events – Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions
With Disability. This shall involve cultivating necessary partnerships with social voluntary
organisations to take ownership of this paradigm, strategic planning, drawing up related
checklists, timelines and ensuring last mile implementation through coordinated internal and
external efforts.
2. Coordination with existing philanthropy partners across events. Such coordination includes
assisting AVP in creation of the philanthropy module to enhance reach and thereby
fundraising at respective events. This shall also involve coordinating with the existing
partners by drawing up of related checklists with timelines and ensuring last mile
implementation through coordinated internal and external efforts.
3. Communication strategy and plan – to be created in conjunction with respective philanthropy
partners and Inclusion allies, to seamlessly promote all initiatives driven by the department,
effectively using various media at the event’s disposal (eg: print, radio, digital, outdoor, PR).
4. Data management and mining – collation of relevant information related to the Event for the
future and inference of the same.
5. Ensuring timely on-ground coordination for Procam’s part of relevant deliverables.
6. Research on best practices/innovations adopted by distance running events/other events
globally.
7. Assisting in ideating, coordinating and conducting a philanthropy awards function post each
race day, within 60 days of event conclusion, or as may be decided, including putting
together the post Event Docket of each Event.
