Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, instrumentation or chemical Engineering
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fluid system design, preferably in Oil & Gas,
Semiconductor, or Clean Energy sectors.
Pervious Process Engineering experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical is an added
advantage.
Understanding of downstream and upstream process would be helpful
Good analytical and presentation skills
Good understanding of fluid dynamics and its application in fluid system design.
Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and layout optimization.
Ability to read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and General
Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Knowledge of fabrication processes relevant to fluid system assemblies.
Exposure to Quality process is an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain expert-level product knowledge and application.
Coordinate with internal sales team, customers, engineering consultants, and vendors to
ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products (or)solutions.
Liaise with suppliers over technical and commercial matters.
Develop instrumentation bills of materials (BOMs) based on Piping & Instrumentation
Diagrams (P&IDs). Perform technical evaluations of vendor offers and prepare comparisons.
Support procurement decisions.
Draft and present proposals to customers.
Prepare CAD assemblies for customer verification.
Communicate CAD assemblies effectively to the production team.
Ensure final assemblies align with customer-approved drawings and meet quality
standards.
Organize and maintain paperwork and the filing system as per internal quality
requirements.
Uphold Swagelok’s policies and values in all activities.
Track quotes and orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Conduct product presentations for internal and external customers.
Coordinate testing and ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance plan provided by
the customer.
