Perform and evaluate the process for accurate transaction screening and review of transactions, including denied and restricted party screening
Build and Implement a Free Trade Agreement program for applicable imports and exports
Follow the timely reporting obligations to appropriate customs authorities
Identify training needs, co-develop and provide training
Support the continuous improvement of the company’s trade compliance program
Records retention: handling the Import/Export transaction documentation and performing random audit check as required by company policy and regulations Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred.
Experience
3-5 years overall experience within U.S. import and export control compliance functions, ideally in an international environment
FTA/COO knowledge and expertise
HTS and ECCN Classification
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to adapt and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
Familiar with continuous improvement activities (PPI, Kaizen, JDI)
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Suite Software preferred
Self-motivated and driven with excellent collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, proactive, with a positive demeanor
