Department: Logistics – Spare Parts Warehouse
Location: Faridabad - Ballabgarh
Experience Required: 2–6 years in logistics operations
Job Purpose:To supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations related to the dispatch of spare parts, ensure timely delivery, resolve transporter and customer issues, and support the logistics team with system updates and freight verification activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Transporter Coordination:
- Daily follow-up with transporters for timely vehicle placement and dispatch.
- Monitor transporter performance and escalate delays.
- Ensure documentation and safety compliance from transporter side.
- Dispatch Planning:
- Prepare dispatch plan based on FTL and PTL
- Ensure dispatches meet customer delivery timelines, especially for urgent orders.
- Freight Verification:
- Check and verify freight bills as per agreed rate contracts.
- Coordinate with accounts and transporters for dispute resolution.
- Maintain freight data and support freight MIS preparation.
- Customer Interaction:
- Attend to customer queries related to dispatch status, delivery delays, and shortages.
- Provide timely updates and resolutions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- System & Documentation:
- Update dispatch details in Oracle (or relevant ERP system) on time.
- Maintain Excel trackers for daily dispatch, vehicle movement, and pending deliveries.
- Generate reports for management review and MIS.
- Operational Supervision:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance to SOPs, safety, and company logistics standards.
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Data Analysis)
- Good knowledge of logistics processes and dispatch planning
- Experience with ERP software (Oracle preferred)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Graduate (any stream) – Preferably with a diploma/certification in logistics or supply chain management
