With offices all over the country shut down due to the coronavirus, 2020 was certainly a big year for the human resources industry. As work from home is now expected to enter the permanent chapters of office culture, demands have sprouted for the upcoming budget to provide a fiscal stimulus package to cater additional expenses incurred by employees. Anjali Raghuvanshi, Chief People Officer, Randstad India, hopes for Budget 2021 to come up with tax exemptions around allowances for employees and it should aim at job creation.
