Project Accounting & Fixed asset Management: Accurately record costs incurred during project stages and allocate them to the appropriate accounting
heads. Manage the capitalization of costs related to fixed assets, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Monitor assets under construction, track project budgets, and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion
Bookkeeping & General Ledger Management: Oversee accurate and up-to- date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in the
general ledger. Reconciliation of CRM ( Agrichain) with entries in Xero (accounting software)
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and
collections.
Bank Transactions & Reconciliations: Record all bank transactions and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Compliance &Audit: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the agribusiness or manufacturing sectors.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
