Functional responsibilities -
- To process accounting postings.
- To perform reconciliations
- To execute and engage on all internal control activities defined within the function.
- To participate in internal & external financial audits
- To drive and facilitate interactions with internal /external customers and third parties (legal entity controllers/ plant accountants).
- To participate in system projects in functional areas with limited guidance.
- To prepare and deliver quality financial reports as required by internal or external requirements on time.
- To perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work, ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.
- To perform closing activities.
- To validate overall closing within the area of responsibility.
- Consultancy for the SBU (cost vs. capital questions and in general any other permanent investment accounting query).
- Active participation in any permanent investment projects (Carve in/ Carve out processes, JV creation, mergers etc).
Required Experience:
- Accounting/Finance University degree.
- Minimum of 3 years finance/accounting experience.
- Experience in Fixed Assets accounting would be a plus.
- Previous exposure to Lease Accounting US GAAP valuable.
- SAP Asset Module knowledge desirable.
- US GAAP.
- Business proficiency in English.
- PC skills: demonstrated ability to work with email programs and MS Excel.
- Previous experience working with SAP (any other ERP system will be a plus: Oracle, Navision).
