Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Planning
Working in close collaboration with Purchase department and plan for timely
arrival of materials for production.
Plan materials in advance based on S&OP and share shortages with
Purchase department for Procurement.
Daily Follow up of Material and updation of Production dispatch file for daily

Monitoring progress of Scheduled orders and informing sales department in
case of any Delay.
Providing Technical Write Up of Raw material imports for customs approval.
Release of Job order based on material lead time.
Tracking of delays in Purchase orders.
Intimating Purchase on scrap disposal when disposal qty is reached.
Provide quarterly, half yearly and yearly forecast of critical materials to
Purchase.
2. As Stores in Charge
Maintain accurate records of all stock.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Avoid overstocking and understocking.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Update stock records upon receipt of materials.
Issue materials to production and other departments as per requirement.
Maintain proper records of material issuance (Material Requisition Slips).
Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) as per policy.
Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in ERP.
Work closely with Purchase, Production, Planning, and Finance teams.
Provide timely data for procurement and planning decisions.
Ensure proper storage of materials to avoid damage, pilferage, or
degradation.
Implement 5S and good housekeeping practices.
Manage hazardous, perishable, and high-value items with care
Identify non-moving, obsolete, or surplus items.
Adhere to statutory and company safety regulations.
Maintain MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) where required.
Ensure safe handling of chemicals, flammable, or hazardous goods.
Reduce inventory carrying costs.
Minimize wastage, pilferage, and non-moving stock.
Help identify cost-effective procurement options through data insights
Supervise and train store assistants.
Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure discipline.
Encourage team involvement in continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
Preferably a graduate in Engineering in electrical.
Experience: minimum 7 to 12 years
Good understanding of Production, manufacturing and assembly line methods
and practices.
Self-driven and strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish and develop
working relationships between business functions
Experience in using AutoCAD software.
Good Leadership skills, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 quality system and ISO 14001:2015
environmental system.
