• Assist in the preparation of system designs for fire detection, suppression, access control, CCTV, and integrated security solutions.
• Develop and update design documentation including Revit sheets, CAD layouts, schematics, block diagrams, and system architecture. ...
• Support the Global Design Manager in standardizing templates and ensuring adherence to global design standards.
• Ensure all design outputs meet relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g.,NFPA, EN, UL, CE).
• Conduct technical analysis of client requirements and assist in value engineering efforts to optimize performance and cost.
• Collaborate with tender, engineering, and commercial teams to align design efforts with bid strategy.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.Support site surveys (virtual or in person) and technical clarification sessions when required.
• Attend co-ordination meetings with the client, or within the company.
• Production of supporting documentation for design submittals.
• Production of 2D/3D Co-ordination and installation drawings.
• Clash detection of fire and security systems within the federated model.
• Archiving/uploading of drawings/documents in BIM360. Years of experience
• 3+ years of experience in fire and/or security system design, ideally for
commercial or industrial projects
Shift Timings:
• 2 p.m. to 11 p.m
Educational Qualification
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or related technical
field).
Skill sets required :
Mandatory
• Knowledge & Understanding of BIM procedures.
• Proficiency in Autodesk software (e.g., Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, AutoCAD)
• Understanding global design standards (NFPA, EN, UL, ISO).
• Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and manage design
deliverables under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
