Key Responsibilities:
Teach IB DP Visual Arts (SL/HL) to Grades 11–12 in alignment with IB curriculum standards.
Design and implement units of inquiry that promote exploration, conceptual development, and technical skill.
Guide students through all components of the DP Visual Arts course:
Comparative Study
Process Portfolio
Exhibition
Provide individualized support and critical feedback throughout the artistic process.
Facilitate and oversee student exhibitions, both for internal assessment and public display.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of all assessment and documentation requirements for the IB.
Encourage global perspectives and diverse artistic approaches in the classroom.
Collaborate with colleagues across the DP and Arts departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
Engage in regular professional development, including participation in IB workshops and training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field.
Valid teaching certification/licensure (as required by region).
Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably with IB DP Visual Arts.
IB DP Visual Arts training and/or certification preferred.
