Position : Hardware EngineerJob location : Bangalore Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop embedded systems, including microcontrollers/microprocessors, switching power supplies, electromechanical drives, sensors, I/O interfaces, and wireless/wired communication modules.• Support PCB layout, schematic design, and component selection for multilayer PCB designs, ensuring mixed signal integrity and impedance control for optimal EMI/EMC performance.• Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize PCB layouts and system designs, ensuring efficient, high-yield production processes, streamlined assembly, reduced costs, and improved reliability during manufacturing.• Perform comprehensive hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers to ensure system performance and reliability.• Develop and execute testing strategies, including functional testing, stress testing, and environmental testing, to validate designs against specifications and industry standards.• Collaborate with firmware and embedded software teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance.• Prepare detailed documentation, including test results, schematics, design specifications, fabrication notes, assembly notes, and deliverables such as Gerber files, drill charts, and PCB assembly BOMs for prototypes and production.• Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities and field service engineers during production and deployment phases.• Leverage hardware and control system expertise to create cost-effective designs that meet project requirements while incorporating state-of-the-art technologies.
