Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new inside sales representatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Set clear individual and team sales targets and monitor progress towards goals.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and team sales meetings to review performance, share best practices, and provide ongoing training.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective inside sales strategies and tactics to drive lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead flow and improve lead quality.
- Ensure consistent use of CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for accurate tracking of sales activities, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track and report on key sales performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, conversion rates, average deal size, and pipeline health.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.
- Identify and address performance gaps, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Understand customer needs and pain points to effectively position our products/services.
- Ensure the team provides excellent customer service and builds strong relationships with prospects and customers.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of inside sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
