Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:
Tata Consumer Products is a fast-moving consumer goods company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and a subsidiary of the Tata Group. It is the world's second-largest manufacturer and distributor of tea and a major producer of coffee.
The TCPL Shared Service Centre (SSC) is envisioned to support the TATA Consumer Products practices by executing a major portion of the transactional activities in engagements that are currently being done in the different service lines and locations. The talent pool in the SSC will be a mix of experienced professionals who will supervise and undertake judgmental activities and commerce graduates who will implement services based transactional activities.
The Logistics team at the SSC would support all Logistics related processes for the defined customers / markets.
A Logistics Analyst would be responsible for the delivery of the following functions:
- Inbound and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) creation
- Invoicing
- Logistics
- Quality and SLA compliance
- Teamwork and communication
The role would be defined through pre-determined SLAs and be measured on accuracy and turnaround time.
ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Responsibilities
Inbound and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) creation
- Tracking the Bill Of Lading number in the shipping partner website
- Create the inbounds and GRNs in SAP
- Label creation in SAP
Invoicing
- Responsible for saving, managing and correcting the invoices
- Processing the Service Line Entry in SAP
Logistics
- Monitor Shipping & Storage Performance of Third-Party Vendors
- Plan Inbound Material Receipts (receipt confirmation)
- Monitor Inbound Delivery Performance
- Track Service Levels / Performance
Mandatory skills:
- Candidate should be aware of SAP Transaction codes of Logistics (MIGO, MB51,and VL31N) .
- Having knowledge in Global Logistics Management or Logistics and fleet, Inbound, outbound, Invoice and Goods receipt note.
- Should be aware of Logistics cycle.
- Should have Good Communication skills, so can interact with in market team.

- Resolve queries (internal and external) within defined turnaround time
- Adherence to Process SLAs
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency in processes
Teamwork & Communication
- Display good team player skills
- Responsible for own learning and development with guidance from team leader / manager
- Ensure a ‘customer centric’ and ‘partnership approach’ to develop strong relationships with other working groups
- Effective communication of issues across the SSC and working groups
