Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Method Logistic Associate to support the optimization of logistics processes and material flow across our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the logistics and methods engineering teams to implement best practices, support warehouse layout improvements, and ensure timely and efficient material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze current logistics methods and propose improvements to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling, warehousing, and internal logistics.
Collaborate with method engineers and warehouse teams to design and implement layout changes for optimized material flow.
Assist in implementing lean logistics principles and 5S practices across logistics operations.
Monitor and track logistics KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, order fulfillment rate, material lead times).
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving related to logistics inefficiencies or disruptions.
Support system data accuracy in ERP/WMS systems through periodic audits and updates.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Quality) to ensure alignment of logistics processes.
Provide training and guidance to warehouse and logistics staff on updated procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or industrial methods roles.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
Basic understanding of lean principles, time & motion studies, and warehouse optimization.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with layout planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio).
Knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse technologies.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma).
