This role is accountable for developing packaging solution and project implementation working with packaging suppliers and Cross functional team members.
Customers: Generally include logistics, operations, transportation, quality, purchasing, and other supply chain functional areas.
External contacts include global packaging vendors and parts suppliers. Excellent human relations and communications skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with internal and external customers.
Functional Skills/Capabilities: Some of the functional skills and capabilities needed in this roles are but not limited to the following: Understanding of packaging and supplier management skills, Resolve issues by following departmental guidelines, Validate returnable quantities through simulations, Participate in resolving safety and / or quality issues caused by current packaging, Resolve issues reported by customers and process partners.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Logistics Planning, Logistics Operation, Global Purchasing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain
- Advanced expertise in Packaging
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills
- Knowledge of Project Management Principles
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Develop and deploy creative / original solutions to complex problems
- Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
