- Technology Docket Collaboration: Work with internal teams to define functional requirements in terms of capacity, scope, features, flexibility, and customer needs, which will serve as inputs for detailed engineering.
- Engineering Coordination: Coordinate basic and detailed engineering with consultants to ensure comprehensive technology transfer documentation.
- Design Review: Evaluate detailed engineering designs from consultants for feasibility, cost adherence, quality, and alignment with company requirements.
- Procurement Action: Finalize equipment specification sheets and pursue procurement actions.
- Technical Documentation: Oversee overall technical documentation.
- Environmental Clearances: Gather necessary data for environmental clearances for all plants and ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and applicable laws for new plant setups.
- Manpower Planning: Plan, recruit, and train manpower, assembling a commissioning/operations team for the commercial operation of new plants.
- Permission Inputs: Provide necessary inputs for securing timely permissions.
- Product Development: Collaborate with plant R&D teams on product development.
- Budget Preparation: Assist the Technical Services Manager in budget preparation and adherence.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in process engineering and operations management of process plants.
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
- Ability to review and evaluate engineering designs.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of EHS guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in manpower planning and training.
- Budget preparation and cost-saving strategies.
- Data analytics for plant optimization.
