In context of eConnectivity support team in Client, we need an individual who is responsible for the support of the enterprise wide Network Perimeter Systems (NPS) and supporting tools. In this role, theSite Reliability Engineer is the first level of monitoring and support for various IS systems.In addition to providing a very high level of system stability, you will develop strong relationships with internalIStechnical staff. You will provide support to both local and remote IS staff, maintain system documentation, andcontribute to IS projects as required.Individuals applying for this position must be able to multi-task, have a strong attention to detail, professionaldemeanor, and be able to adapt into a growing and changing environment.Key responsibilities include:Systems Support:Monitor the health of all the internal IS systems and resolve any issues related to cpu/memory/diskspace issuesMonitor key backups (system backups, and database log shipping and replication) and resolve anyissues that might occurReview and action support tickets created by other IS staff for systems we supportPatch and upgrade systems when applicableCreate new procedures for newly identified resolutions, and when otherwise appropriateMaintain accurate documentation for resolved issues, and systems informationParticipate in team huddles to help ensure the success of the team and organizationBe willing to work flexible hours when required to meet company deadlinesIdentify improvement opportunities to reduce operational cost and increase efficiencies
