      Job DescriptionAs a part of the application services team, this role will be responsible for providing excellent customer focused service - encompassing SAP (S4HANA) application platform and its modules. IndiGo is currently implementing SAP S4HANA and will Go Live from 1st Jan 2022. This role has to manage platform availability, 2nd level support (24x7) and release management through suppliers, 3rd level support from the OEM (SAP).He /she will provide a highly effective, proactive and responsive SAP support service to customers, ensuring that the SAP Modules especially FI CO and MM operate efficiently (S4HANA), reliably and to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s. Key Responsibilities·        Analyzing business/technical requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide the best practice recommendations especially for FICO and MM module. (S4HANA) ·        Providing key decision support, monitoring issues and risks, and creating mitigation plans. ·        Provide leadership and support for SAP delivery teams both internal & extended ·        Maintains SAP support processes, and ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. ·        Support will involve close collaboration with the suppliers having development teams, infrastructure teams, Database administration or Network support. ·        Diagnoses problems faced in service delivery and initiates actions to improve levels of service. ·        Monitors and report on supplier performance. Implements supplier service improvement actions and programmes ·        Owns, manages and resolves incidents/faults logged against SAP systems supported by the vendor’s Support team to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s. ·        Analyses problems and incidents, ensuring completeness of root cause for major/critical incidents, and where possible identifies, resolves or provides best practice workarounds, suggestions and improvements to mitigate future incidents. Ensures full documentation has been developed and change management followed. ·        Liaises with third party suppliers and contractors as required to maintain levels of support/service; upgrades and integrates new requirements in partnerships with colleagues. ·        Ensures applications/software environments are fully maintained with appropriately supported revisions, fixes, updates, patches and/or service packs in line with maintenance policies. Prior to installation ensures full testing, sign off and change management approval has been obtained prior to release into production environment. ·        Coordinates/implements the installation, testing and release of vendor-supplied software upgrades, TR and any other changes. ·        Leads or assists in the resolution of software problems by designing and implementing appropriate fixes and enhancements in line with SAP usage and licensing policy. ·        Ensures business continuity and system resolution/recovery activities are in place. ·        Develops and maintains standard support procedures and other documentation as required to ensure the support, availability and continuity of services to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s. ·        Proactively monitors applications/systems to capture potential issues (e.g. alerts, performance) before they occur, in accordance with monitoring/maintenance procedures. ·        Prepares management information to input into management reporting in respect to service levels and support activities (e.g. dashboards, RAG status, SLA’s, KPI’s. risks/issues) as well as for development activities (e.g. Delivery dates, SDLC compliance, Defect ratios etc.) ·        Provides assistance to the supplier teams with testing and deployment of application/software changes/releases through the formal change management processes. ·        Leads or participates in the process of integrating and releasing new application/software functionality into the production environment, ensuring all service acceptance and operational deliverables have been successfully developed in line with SAP usage and licensing policy. ·        Builds and maintain effective working relationships within the team and externally (with suppliers, partners and vendors). ·        Manages SAP domain in IndiGo including its licensing, access rights and authorizations and audits both internal & external. Education & Experience: Bachelors or Master's degree with over 12 years of experience.
