chain strategies with responsibility for procurement & planning of commodity specific components in India. The
procurement and planning role focus on aerial work platform products. We want you to utilize our global leverage
to regionally achieve the best value in cost, quality, reliability, service, and support. This role will work directly with
Global and Local supply base, co-ordinate cross functional relationships, including product development/
engineering, materials team, warehouse, operations & finance.
Responsibilities:
• Incoming material inspection based as per Quality plan and maintain the records.
• Attending line/Andon calls for any supplier material issue.
• Ensuring defect free material feed to assembly line.
• Support PPAP/NPD components inspection with drawing specifications.
• Visual Inspection of components against any transit damages at receipt stage.
• Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in Incoming inspection area and Receiving areas.
• Identification of critical to Quality parameters from assembly drawing to form incoming inspection plan.
• Prepare and maintain Visual inspection plan for weld components, plastic mould components, sheet
metal components and heavy structural components.
• Supplier PPM analysis and escalation of major issues and NC report raising on regular basis to prevent
recurrence of defects from supplier.
• Supplier 8D review and communication of corrective actions to management.
• Supporting Development team by initial/Proto sample inspection on call basis.
• Supplier site audit to ensuring closure of raised non-conformities.
• Maintaining the Calibration schedule of all Quality instruments.
• Support maintaining the Quality management system and preparing the area for Quality system audits.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
· B.E/B. Tech with 3-4 Years of Experience.
