Key responsibilities include:
Production planning, S&OP, Demand planning,
- Lead a team of supply chain planning professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the demand forecasting process to ensure accurate and timely demand plans, collaborating closely with regional SCM team, commercial, operations, and finance teams.
- Drive end-to-end supply chain optimization initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of supply chain activities.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to balance working capital requirements while meeting customer demand and service level agreements.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track supply chain performance, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, proactively implementing contingency plans to address potential disruptions or delays.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to optimize supply chain processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting the biologics supply chain, ensuring compliance and driving supply chain.
Logistics:
- Optimizing inventory management, aligning with logistics, and adopting digital technologies to streamline operations.
- Additionally, leading initiative for global warehouse setup, with silo truck facilities and implementing best practices ensures efficiency and growth in the supply chain.
- This leadership role emphasizes innovation and continuous improvement for sustainable success.
- Oversee and manage end-to-end fleet operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and operational policies.
Warehouse:
Receipt and Storage of material in store as per location. Ensure Standard operating procedures (SOP) in receiving.
- Solving day to day problems of customers related to material receipt. Sale / Rejection Invoicing; GRN; RGP/NRGP; Stock transfer, etc.
- SAP. Material Receipt verification by audit on daily basis.
- Manpower Management and ensure MH equipment availability.
- MIS reports. (TAT/GRN Reconciliation/Material Movement/Short or Excess Receipt.
- Observations on problems faced by team and improvement suggestions.
