RoleRole & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the efficient management of parts inventory, ensuring timely delivery to customers and maintaining optimal stock levels. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. You'll be a key player in ensuring smooth parts supply operations, from order placement to delivery and invoicing.
Main tasks include
- Manage parts orders from various sites, checking stock availability and processing back orders.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce storage costs.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve any parts-related issues.
- Prepare and submit accurate price quotations for parts.
- Oversee the timely processing of invoices and manage accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
- 2-5 years of experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with purchase order processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- ITI certification or any graduate degree (B.Tech or equivalent) preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant tax regulations and logistics procedures.
Please note, this position is based in Ludhiana or Amritsar, India and requires full-time availability from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are only able to consider candidates who are authorized to work in India.
