• Manage security configurations, access controls, and authentication mechanisms for critical IT systems.
• Evaluate, recommend, and deploy security technologies such as SIEM, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and
identity management solutions.
• Implement and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF), particularly Cloudflare WAF, and oversee
Cloudflare Magic Transit for enhanced security.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR,
HIPAA, etc.).
• Administer and enhance security for virtualization environments and multi-domain infrastructures.
• Strengthen security configurations for Active Directory and enforce best practices for its hardening.
• Configure log ingestion pipelines and optimize security logging, including experience with Splunk.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security team members and IT staff.

Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information security/technology.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security engineering with a strong emphasis on system security. Infrastructure
background is a plus.
• Minimum relevant experience 6+ years.
• Experience in Windows / Linux Security design & implementation. (Active Directory security, group policy,
domain function and hardening techniques)
• Experience on Virtualization, Cloud Security(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container security best
practices.
• Experience working with multi-domain environments and securing complex infrastructures.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK.• Experience conducting security audits, penetration testing, and forensic investigations.
• Experience with Security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience in configuring and optimizing security log ingestion, with a preference for Splunk proficiency.
• Deep understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) security architecture and hardening
techniques.
• Knowledge of Identity and access management (IAM), authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, Kerberos,
LDAP), and zero-trust principles.
