Defined career and growth plans, compensation and benefits and a culture that fosters innovation are among the most critical factors to retaining and nurturing talent in the IT sector. This is according to a survey of HR leaders from the IT sector by Randstad, a staffing solutions provider.
A majority of respondents (95 per cent) in the survey agreed that talent analytics will play a critical role in sourcing and retaining talent over the next 5-10 years, followed by flexible working options (91 per cent) to attract increasingly mobile talent, and increasing automation (82 per cent) that will shift the talent needed in an organisation to highly skilled roles, Randstad said.
