What you’ll do
As the Talent Acquisition Head, you will work closely with the global Talent Acquisition team to
align corporate policies and initiatives. As the ambassador and change agent for new initiatives,
provide the global overview to HR teams and local perspective to the global team during the
design phase of the new initiatives. Promote employer brand through social media, e.g. LinkedIn
etc.
In this role you will play a crucial role in our organization's success by leading our
recruitment efforts for both IT and ITES positions. You will be responsible for developing and
implementing strategic talent acquisition plans to ensure we attract, hire, and retain top
talent in alignment with our business objectives.
Your top priorities will include:1. Strategic Talent Planning:
Collaborate with senior management to understand business objectives and develop
talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals for the APAC region.
Analyze workforce trends, talent gaps, and future hiring needs to proactively plan
recruitment initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize recruitment processes and
enhance the employer brand in the APAC market.
Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the
organization's short and long-term hiring needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to enhance
recruitment processes.
Alignment with Organizational Objectives: Ensure that talent acquisition initiatives align
with our company's strategic goals.2. Recruitment Process Management:
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing,
screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless candidate
experience.
Implement effective sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates through various
channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline
processes and maintain accurate candidate records.
Manage key searches while continuously building new talent pipelines for business
critical roles within Commercial, Supply Chain and support functions.4. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners
across the APAC region to understand their talent needs and provide strategic
recruitment support.
Serve as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters, offering insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and talent availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives for
workforce planning, employer branding, and diversity recruitment.
Oversee Sourcing and Hiring Processes: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for
positions across all levels, from bulk hiring to lateral positions.
Provide appropriate and consistent communications with hiring managers, executives,
HR business partners, and candidates to ensure transparency and engagement through
the recruitment process.
5. Leadership and Development:
Build strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners
across the APAC region to understand their talent needs and provide strategic
recruitment support.
Serve as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters, offering insights on market
trends, competitive intelligence, and talent availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives for
workforce planning, employer branding, and diversity recruitment.4. Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:
Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's
reputation as an employer of choice.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by
maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and addressing
candidate concerns.
Effectively utilize comprehensive knowledge of company offerings, benefits, comp
strategies, and recruiting sales techniques to market company as an “Employer of
Choice”, and to ensure an engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Provide leadership, consultation, and strategic direction to hiring executives and HR
business partners regarding recruiting trends, concerns and opportunistic hiring
possibilities.
Drive global recruitment initiatives including but not limited to employer branding, e-
recruiting, assessment tools and recruitment competences on a local level.5. Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, vendors, and other third-
party partners to augment recruitment efforts when necessary.
Negotiate contracts, set performance expectations, and monitor vendor performance to ensure alignment with organizational standards.6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of
recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-
fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire for senior management review.7. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local employment laws, regulations, and ethical standards
across the APAC region.
Mitigate recruitment-related risks by implementing robust processes for background
checks, legal documentation, and vendor management.
Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry trends impacting talent acquisition
practices in the APAC region.Additional Requirements:
1. Global Work Experience:
Proven track record of handling IT and ITES requirements in multiple regions,
including APAC.
Experience in managing remote teams and collaborating across different time
zones.
Familiarity with regional employment laws, regulations, and cultural nuances
related to recruitment practices.2. Certificates:
Certification in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment (e.g., CIR, AIRS Preferred).
Certification in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related field is a plus.
