RoleRole & Responsibilities
You will be the key player in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations. You'll manage a variety of payroll-related tasks, collaborate with finance teams, and provide excellent support to the company's employees.
Main tasks include
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Manage all statutory compliance related to payroll.
- Calculate and process full and final settlements for departing employees.
- Calculate and process salary increments and bonuses.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and provide salary journal vouchers as required by the finance department.
- Manage income tax declarations and withholding tax calculations.
- Process CTC reimbursements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proven ability to manage payroll for a significant number of employees.
- Expert knowledge of Japanese payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll software (specific systems to be discussed during the interview).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in Japanese and Business level English.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance, HR).
