ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Works closely together with business associates and the direct sales force in order to help them achieve
and exceed sales targets. This position is responsible to achieve the annual revenue targets for the region.
Implements business strategy into plans, targets, forecasts, and business reviews on a monthly &
quarterly basis and overall business efficiency.
Achieves sales plan and profitability objectives for the region.
Reports on achieved results on a timely basis to the Management.
Establishes a monitoring system to ensure compliance with the sales plan on volume, price, and value
objectives for products.
Gives direction, guidance and backup on pricing.
Give input on sales budgets to the National Sales Manager towards proper target setting for the year.
Works closely together with Marketing to allow availability of the right sales tools at the right time and
provides inputs on key learnings and developments in the market
Coordinates participation in the local marketing events’ (conferences etc.) and continuing medical
education (CME) programmes.
Understands customers’ needs and market potential, and sets direction and plans to expand market and
realize market potential.
Liaises with and guides the sales team to optimize sales opportunities in the region through effective
teamwork and cooperation.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through management of relationships and sales support.
Responsible for the customer orders and deliveries, in coordination with the manufacturing and logistics
teams.
Manages the local inventory through customer service management and direct relationship with the
business associates and logistics team.
Works with Credit Control department, as and when necessary, to take commercially appropriate actions
to keep the DSO and any payment overdue (receivables) under control.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in science is required. A Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales function. Team management experience is preferred.
