Recruitment firm Randstad is eyeing acquisitions in India’s staffing and technology space to gain a stronger foothold in mid-to-senior-level staffing in the country, reports The Economic Times of India. The company already has a strong presence in junior-level temporary staffing in India and is now evaluating professional staffing companies, IT solutions firms, and temporary staffing companies in healthcare, sales, marketing, and construction & engineering sectors. "We will invest whatever it takes to get a good strategic partner," said Moorthy Uppaluri, CEO of Randstad India, indicating there was no cap on funding these acquisitions. The company has been established in the Indian market since the acquisition of Vedior (trading as Ma Foi in India) in 2007 and now has a national network of over 20 offices.
