With the pervasive feel-good sentiment, 2014 is ending on a strong note. So far, it looks like the momentum will only scale up in 2015 with the hiring market at a new high, and plenty of reasons for jobseekers to cheer. Organisations have increasingly started using SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud) technologies, leading to huge amount of data generation, which is being analysed using Big Data methodologies.
They expect these investments to provide them with strategic directions to increase sales, customer satisfaction and improve internal efficiency. "Since this is a domain that's fast-developing, there will be a huge demand for the right talent in these roles. We are expecting at least 20% growth in demand over 2014," says Aditya Narayan Mishra, president, staffing — Randstad India.
