Job Summary
The Analytics Analyst will contribute to HMH’s enterprise analytics initiatives, supporting customer-facing teams including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Tech Support, Customer Service, and Professional Services. This role requires strong dashboard development skills using Tableau, Tableau Pulse+, CRM Analytics (CRMA), and Power BI, with a solid understanding of business operations and data storytelling. This collaborative role requires strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & Visualization
- Support the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards using Tableau, Tableau Pulse+, CRMA, and Power BI to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Translate complex datasets into intuitive visualizations tailored to different business audiences.
- Assist in implementing security and role-based views
Cross-Functional Analytics Support
- Partner with Rev Ops and customer-facing teams to define KPIs, reporting needs, and data sources.
- Deliver insights across the customer lifecycle—from lead generation and sales conversion to onboarding, support, and retention.
- Assist in post-sales analytics and reporting as needed
Data Strategy & Governance
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to align source systems, definitions, and refresh schedules.
- Support BI tool adoption activities.
Innovation & Enablement
- Assist with exploring new features and tools
- Provide training and documentation to business users on dashboard usage and interpretation.
- Remain informed of relevant tool updates
