Position: Agriculture Sourcing & Natural Raw Material Manager

Department: Supply Chain / Procurement / Operations

Reporting To: Supply chain

Location: Plant / Field-based (Extensive travel)

Regional Knowledge: Most crops are based in Tamilnadu & Bangalore so a tamil person is required, if knowing Tamil + kannad language will be an advantage

1. Role Purpose

Will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sustainable sourcing of herbs, seeds, and botanical raw materials required for plant extract production, including sourcing from non-traditional crop-growing regions to ensure supply continuity, quality compliance, and cost stability.

2. Key Responsibilities

· Develop farmers, traders and cooperative networks

· Maintain crop yield, availability, seasonality, and price database

· Forecast supply risks and shortages

· Ensure raw material meets quality specifications

· Support traceability and audit readiness (Wherever Applicable)

· Maintain crop-wise risk register

· Mitigate climate and supply risks

3. Qualifications & Experience

· B.Sc / M.Sc Agriculture, Botany, Horticulture or equivalent

· Minimum 10-12 years of experience in herbal / botanical sourcing

· Local language

4. Skills & Competencies

· Agro economics & crop cycle understanding

· Farmer engagement & negotiation

· Data analysis & reporting

· Strong Local communication skills

· Visiting farms regularly in the crop growing areas

· Collect information about the situation of tuber or seeds field during

· Meet farmers and build network and relationships
