Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in vision application development,
preferably in AOI or related industries
Strong knowledge of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning principles
Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot vision system issues
Understand the customer requirements and work with suppliers to develop and implement vision applications for AOI machines, including camera
setup, lighting, and algorithm development
Integrate vision systems with AOI machines, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange
Develop and optimize algorithms for defect detection, measurement, and inspection
Troubleshoot vision system issues, identifying and resolving problems to minimize downtime
Provide technical support to manufacturing, ensuring successful implementation and operation of AOI systems
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
