 Is responsible for defining CARBON CANISTER “Size & functional Circuit”, Charcoal (Grade, Volume, properties, etc.) to meet customer requirements.
 Is responsible for analysing & proposing design solutions in Carbon Canister based on BWC/DBL performance to meet customer requirements and Government Norms (Emission Norms).
 Is responsible to check and follow all guidelines and work methodologies.
 Is responsible to keep the track of hours allotted to the particular project.
 Leads & builds the technical product expertise to ensure a cost effective answer to the customers.
 Ensures that all applicable standards (Customer) are followed strictly.
 Validates GD&T as well as tolerance stack-up for respective products/designs/drawings.
 Validates and releases BOM, drawings to internal / external customers.
 Is responsible for Engineering change management - ECR/ECN.
 Ensures & follows IATF guidelines for all the projects & is responsible for the applicable product audits.
 Is responsible for Specification Analysis, Functional Analysis & DFMEA.
 Leads & conducts Design reviews & design verifications periodically. Specifically at the end of each phase.
 Is responsible for Risk analysis and action plan following.
 Makes cost effective recommendations based on calculation reports (CAE/CFD).
