Job Summary
Ensure the optimal functionality and reliability of all mechanical equipment and systems within the cement plant. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime and support continuous, safe production at the Butibori unit.
Key Responsibilities
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on a wide range of cement plant machinery, including crushers, ball mills, kilns, conveyors, pumps, and fans.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical malfunctions promptly and effectively.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance and repair work.
Perform essential tasks such as equipment alignment, lubrication, welding, and overhauling as required.
Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Accurately document all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a heavy industry environment like a cement plant, power plant, or mining.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial rotating and static equipment.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and a high commitment to safety.
