RoleRole & Responsibilities
You will be a key player in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. You will develop and implement EHS programs, conduct regular inspections, and provide training to construction personnel. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
Main tasks include
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive EHS programs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for construction workers.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS activities and compliance.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture.
- Stay current on all relevant EHS regulations and best practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS within the construction industry.
- Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to develop and implement EHS programs.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Proficiency in conducting safety inspections and investigations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Experience working in Kolkata, India is preferred.
