- Develops detailed project plans, schedules and budgets. Tracks progress against baselines and escalates risks or variances with corrective actions. Prepares audits and stage-gate reviews
- Coordinates cross-functional teams: assigns responsibilities, ensures deliverables are produced with agreed scope, standards and timelines and owners provide timely updates and evidence of closure
- Mentors other Project/Program Management & PMO professionals, helping to improve the team’s abilities by acting as a technical resources
- Manages vendors and contractors on deliverables, verifies invoices against milestones, and resolves conflicts to protect delivery quality.
- Prepares clear project status reports and dashboards and tailors messages to different stakeholders.
- Monitors project risks and dependencies, documents mitigation actions and ensures compliance with governance processes.
- Maintains project documentation, supports business case tracking, measures benefits realization and ensures learnings are captured in post-implementation reviews.
- Contributes to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements, tools, and templates that increase efficiency and predictability.
