Key Focus
Industrial Performance Controller would be primarily responsible for activities related to Product Costing, Inventory Valuation and Reconciliation, Variance Analysis, Plant KPI Analysis, Cost Audit & Statutory Audits, Budgeting etc. Functional responsibilities are elaborated as below
Roles and Responsibilities
•Cost Monitoring & Analysis:
•Product costing and monitor parameters affecting costing
•Maintain standard costing in systems
•Track and analyse direct and indirect manufacturing costs (materials, labour, overheads)
•Monitor cost variances across production lines and investigate discrepancies
•Labour & Machine Hourly Rate ComputationInventory Valuation & Analysis:
•Ensure the accuracy of Inventory Valuation and Reporting
•Reconciliation of Inventory movements and analyse discrepancies thereof
•Compute & track slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock and recommend corrective actions
•Oversee conduct of regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
•Budgeting & Forecasting:
•Preparation of annual budgets and update forecasts periodically (quarterly) based on actuals ...
•Establish timelines and responsibilities across concerned departments
•Refine budgeting and forecasting processes as per past experience
•Reporting & Compliance:
•Ensure accuracy and timely submission of Month End and related KPI Reporting
•Maintain compliance and ensure fulfilment of internal audit and external audit requirements
•Preparation of Cost Audit data and related Audit Annexures & Schedules
•Profitability & Payback Analysis:
•Scrutinize various cost-saving initiatives and process optimizations projects
•Validation of New Products and Other Productivity projects in terms of profitability and payback (ROI working)
•Facilitate Management in decision making with accurate and timely submission of cost benefit analysis
•Analysis of Capex with reference to profitability and payback
Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience
• Qualified ICWA/CMA .
• Proficient in Office 365 (MS Excel, Power Point, etc…).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent handling and driving resolutions
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and cross functional collaborations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies.
• Regular visit to Manufacturing Plant locations across India
