Key responsibilities 1.Procurement & SourcingRequest quotations, compare offers, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery<br />schedules.<br />Ensure materials meet cost and delivery requirements.<br />2. Import Operations<br />Manage endtoend import process: purchase order creation, shipment tracking, customs<br />clearance, and delivery to plant/warehouse<br />Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs (Customs House Agents), and logistics partners.<br />Verify import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, MSDS, HS Codes,<br />etc.).<br />3. Export OperationsPrepare export-related procurement documents and coordinate with internal teams foroutbound shipments.<br />Ensure compliance with export regulations, licensing, and documentation requirements.<br />Liaise with customer service and logistics partners for smooth movement of outbound goods. 4. EXIM Compliance<br />Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, RBI, and other regulatory bodies.<br />Manage application, utilization, and closure of export incentives (EPCG, Advance<br />Authorization, RoDTEP, etc.).<br />Maintain accurate records for audits and statutory requirements.<br />5. Logistics Coordination<br />Optimize logistics costs by selecting efficient freight, shipping modes, and routes.<br />Monitor transit times, delays, and coordinate corrective actions.<br />Evaluate logistics service providers and maintain strong relationships.<br />6. Supplier & Stakeholder Management<br />Develop and maintain vendor relationships for continuous cost improvement.<br />Manage vendor performance, delivery reliability, and quality.<br />Work closely with finance, production, QA, and warehouse teams.<br />7. Reporting & Documentation<br />Maintain procurement trackers, shipment schedules, and cost reports.<br />Prepare MIS reports for import / export status, cost savings, and vendor performance.<br />Handle documentation, advance payments, and bank-related EXIM activities. What we’re<br />looking forJob Requirements & Qualifications (Education & Experience)<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Commerce, Engineering, or related field</li><li>MBA in International Business / Supply Chain (preferred)</li><li>Certification in EXIM / International Trade (added advantage)</li><li>6–8 years of experience in import–export procurement or EXIM operations</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, electronics, or similar industries</li><li>Strong knowledge of EXIM policies, customs procedures, and DGFT regulations</li><li>Understanding of Incoterms 2020</li><li>Exposure to global sourcing and international trade</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills</li><li>Experience with SAP - Preferred</li><li>Analytical and problemsolving abilities</li><li>Make Inbound / PO to Vendors / GRN/service entries with SAP</li></ul><h3>experience</h3>7
