·Experience in development of different types of 2d and 3d meshing algorithms for CAE simulations using FEM solvers
·Good working knowledge of
o Pave, Advancing Front, Delauney, Map and other meshing methods,
o All tria & quad dominant 2d mesh, with various geometric and quality constraints (like chordal deviation, aspect ratio, min side length, etc.) with uniform and variable size meshing
o Hexa dominant 3d mesh, all tetra mesh with uniform and variable size meshing,
o Parallelization of meshing
o Mesh manipulation, coarsening & refinement, Offsetting & Morphing transformations, Wrapping
·Understanding of various challenges in meshing 2d and 3d topology, knowledge of CAD representation and its modeling
·Quality computation and evaluation of various types of 2d and 3d meshes
·Good understanding of Crash/NVH/Casting/Welding & Heat Treatment/Stamping simulation, effects of meshing quality, flow and pattern on simulation
·Good understanding of aspects of quadratic meshing
·Ability to quickly understand old C/C++ meshing codes
·Good knowledge of testing & automation using Python scripting,
·Knowledge of DOE, Optimization, Statistics will be an added advantage
