- Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Lead and mentor the centralized procurement team servicing all group companies
- and manufacturing sites.
- Develop and institutionalize procurement policies and frameworks to standardize
- sourcing across operations.
- Operational Procurement Excellence
- Manage procurement of raw materials, spares, consumables, and indirect spends
- across all units.
- Drive the shift from ad hoc purchasing to a programmatic and periodic procurement
- model.
- Cost Control & Budgeting
- Control and optimize OPEX spends through smart sourcing, vendor negotiations, and
- contract management.
- Create and maintain costing models to support decision-making and variance
- analysis.
- Capex Synergies & Project Coordination
- Collaborate with the project procurement team to unlock synergies, ensure timely
- capex procurement, and streamline vendor management during plant expansions or
- upgrades.
- Systems, Workflows & Governance
- Implement continuous improvement in procurement workflows and digital systems
- (ERP, analytics dashboards).
- Establish robust governance practices to ensure transparency, compliance, and
- timely execution.
