Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented EHS Officer to join our operational team in Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and promoting workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills to conduct safety training sessions, handle reporting, and interface with management and ground staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safety Management & Site Audits
- Conduct regular daily walkthroughs and hazard identifications across operational sites/facilities.
- Inspect work practices, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
- Maintain risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
2. Training & Communication
- Conduct EHS induction for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Deliver regular safety talks (Toolbox Talks) in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Communicate safety notices, posters, and EHS updates across departments clearly.
3. Incident Investigation & Compliance
- Maintain records of near-misses, incidents, and accidents.
- Lead root cause analyses (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Assist in regulatory compliance according to Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) guidelines, Factories Act, and local regulatory standards.
4. Environmental & Health Monitoring
- Oversee waste management practices (hazardous, e-waste, and solid waste disposal).
- Monitor emergency management equipment (fire sprinklers, extinguishers, first-aid stations).
- Organize regular fire drills and medical checkups for employees.
