RoleRole & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating an EOT crane, moving heavy materials within a fast-paced steel production facility. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe work environment for your colleagues. Main tasks include
- Safely operate an EOT crane to lift, move, and position materials according to specifications.
- Inspect crane and related equipment to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations and material movement.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the crane as needed.
- Report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating EOT cranes in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of crane safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
- Experience with hot metal handling is preferred but not required.
- Valid crane operating license or certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
