Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding on automotive components and body parts.
Carry out fitting, alignment, and assembly of metal parts according to drawings.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
Conduct cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication work as required.
Ensure proper welding joints, penetration, and finishing as per standards.
Inspect and test welded surfaces for strength, quality, and durability.
Maintain and operate welding/fitting tools and equipment safely.
Follow 5S, safety standards, and quality procedures during all operations.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Skills & Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Welder, Fitter, Fabrication, or related field.
Good knowledge of MIG, TIG, Gas Welding, and Fabrication Techniques.
Ability to read and understand automotive drawings.
Experience in car manufacturing, body shop, or automotive fabrication preferred.
Strong understanding of safety standards in welding and fabrication.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
