This role owns recurring system-driven deliverables tied to monthly close, forecast
cycles, and management reporting.
The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle EPM (Hyperion/Planning), including
Smart View reporting, data validation, and maintaining system structures. The focus is
on accuracy, consistency, and ensuring finance outputs tie across systems and
reporting.Key Responsibilities
Oracle EPM Reporting (Smart View)
Run and refresh Smart View reports on a monthly and quarterly cadence (P&L,
balance sheet, cash flow, departmental reporting)
Maintain and update Smart View templates used for FBR, forecast, and close
reporting
Validate that report outputs tie to system data and reporting packages
Support distribution of finalized reports to finance stakeholders
Data Validation & Reconciliation
Reconcile data between Oracle EPM, ERP (Oracle), and offline Excel models
Validate actuals and forecast data loads within EPM (including entity, department,
and account mappings)
Identify and resolve data mismatches across systems and reporting outputs
Ensure consistency between EPM outputs and management reporting
System Maintenance (Oracle EPM / Hyperion)
Maintain metadata, including hierarchies (entities, departments, accounts) and
mappings
Support updates to reporting dimensions and system structures Assist with user access, form updates, and basic system configuration changes
Document system logic, mappings, and reporting structures
Forecast & Planning Cycle Support
Support forecast and budget cycles within Oracle EPM (data uploads,
validations, and tie-outs)
Validate forecast submissions and ensure alignment with reporting outputs
Track and resolve system issues during planning cycles
Maintain planning templates and ensure consistent usage across teams
Reporting Infrastructure & Improvement
Improve Smart View reporting templates to reduce manual adjustments
Standardize reporting outputs across finance
Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting within EPM
Partner with FP&A and Accounting to improve data flow between ERP and EPM
Execution & Controls
Deliver all system outputs accurately and on time for close and forecast cycles
Perform validation checks prior to report distribution
Maintain version control and file integrity across reporting outputs
Escalate data or system issues early with clear root cause
Ways of Working
Work is structured around monthly close and forecast cycles
Deliverables are system-driven and deadline-sensitive
Strong discipline required for data validation, tie-outs, and documentation
Success is measured by data accuracy, system reliability, and reduced manual
interventionWhat We Are Looking For
Required
7+ years of experience working with Oracle EPM / Hyperion Planning
Hands-on experience with Smart View (building, refreshing, and maintaining
reports)
Experience supporting close and forecast cycles within EPM systems
Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Advanced Excel skills, including working with system-linked reports
Experience reconciling data between ERP and EPM systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring system tasksPreferred
Experience with Oracle ERP (GL, balances, data extracts)
Familiarity with metadata management (hierarchies, dimensions, mappings)
Exposure to cash flow or working capital reporting within EPM
Experience supporting system improvements or implementationsProfile Fit
