o Extensive on-the-job training is a critical component of becoming a fully qualified operator. Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of gas gensets principles and systems (e.g., operating limits, faults, alarms, power & control diagrams, etc.)
o Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
o Knowledge of electricity basics, including voltage, current, and frequency.
o Motor connections, troubleshooting breaker functions, pumps and blower repairing.
