Offer strategic input based on factory core competency to optimize cost, quality, and speed.
Vendor Management: Identify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
Work with vendors to achieve best pricing without sacrificing quality. Provide cost breakdowns and identify cost saving opportunities.
Have a strong understanding of factory capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular updates to the New York office on production status, development milestones, and vendor performance.
Maintain accurate records of communication, product specs, and order tracking.
Including development tracking charts with detailed AWB numbers, sample quantities and any callouts regarding project. Compliance & Ethics: Ensure factory partners comply with ethical labor practices, environmental regulations,
and any required certifications. Specifically for Walmart.
Team Leadership: Manage any local office support staff or QC agents as needed. Foster a productive and
collaborative work environment.
