We seek a technically skilled and experienced individual to head our metallurgical testing lab. This role involves managing lab operations, ensuring quality standards, leading the team, and supporting both technical innovation and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Lead lab operations and testing activities (mechanical, microstructural, NDT, Destructive, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, BIS NABL standards
* Develop SOPs and maintain quality systems
* Mentor lab staff and ensure equipment maintenance
* Support audits, certifications (NABL, ISO/IEC 17025), and client communications
* Maintain integrity and honesty in reporting
Qualifications:
* B.E./M.Tech in Metallurgy/Materials Science
* 10–15 years' experience in testing labs
* Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
* Familiar with Lab Information Management Systems, quality management systems, and international testing standards
